Muties!
One of my oldest drawings.
Nothing much to say about this, other than that I was rather lazy when
I coloured it in. I like the graffiti in the background though.
The technique for this picture was inspired by Yoji Shinkawa, the concept artist for Metal Gear Soilid. Basically, it's a Pental brush pen with a Tippex pen used for the white 'highlighting'.
Storm (arum lily), Cannonball (dahlia), Rogue (lily), Gambit (rose), Sage (orchid), Bishop (carnation). One of my personal favourites. It was inspired by a drawing I did many years ago of the characters from Final Fantasy, each in eveningwear and carrying a flower that represented their personality. I just had to take up the idea again. Pencils, taken into Photoshop.
Wolverine, Gambit, Rogue, Jubilee. Another early picture. Inked, with Jubilee half painted in acrylic inks. It'll probably never be finished. For one thing, I don't like it anymore. ;p

The X-Treme X-Men. I
wanted a hero shot with a twist, and thought I'd have the central figure
(Storm) facing away from the viewer. And I just love Igor Kordey's leathers
- it makes 'em look meaner. And yup, that's the Hong Kong Bank of China
in the background, don't ask me what it's doing there. :P
Another piece inspired by Yoji Shinkawa's work on Metal Gear Solid. I drew this completely spontaneously in about 10-15 minutes, and it was one of those drawings whether everything just comes together without you having to think about it. It's already one of my all-time faves. :)
Second piece inspired by Yoji Shinkawa's work on Metal Gear Solid. This didn't come out as easily as the Gambit one did, but it was okay.
Third piece inspired by Yoji Shinkawa's work on Metal Gear Solid and katjen's Bad Touch. Had to mess around a lot in Photoshop to get this one looking semi up to scratch. :p
I drew this as a front cover for my fanfic, House of Cards. Pencil, scanned into Photoshop where I added the background. I love the splash effect on this one.
This was about the only piece I drew in my first year in Japan, during the only holiday I got that was any considerable length of time. It was more about the clothes than the characters, but I really like this one. it's kinda cute. :)
